I make polymer clay beads. I write about polymer clay beads.

I am a freelance writer with a passion for polymer clay, both the beads and polymer clay cane making. I have over 10 years experience in polymer clay. I am a member of the International Polymer Clay Guild, SRAJD and The Artisan Group.

Currently, I am writing the jewelry bench column for The Polymer Arts magazine. My jewelry has been gifted to celebrities at New York Fashion Week 2013, the press at 2013 Primetime Emmys, the stylists of The Voice, 2 Broke Girls and Hart of Dixie, and it has been donated to a charity auction for The Joyful Child Foundation.

My beads have been seen in Polymer Cafe, Beadstyle, Stringing and Beads 2011. My jewelry designs have won in Polymer Cafe contests. Recently, I picked up first and fourth in a cane work competition, and one of my cabochons was featured in Beads 2015.

I specialize in millefiori canes and enjoy creating complex kaleidoscope canes.

I was born and raised in central Illinois and moved to the Space Coast of Florida in 1986. Recently, I spent three and a half years living outside of Yellowstone National Park where I did a lot of writing, designing and photography. I came back home to Florida and have been culling my photos for print work.

Even though I have a blog on here, most of my blogging has been done on my Blogger accounts, so if you want to follow my journey, learn to make beads, meet all my artisan friends or just see some great scenery, head over to my blogs:
